Building Use
The church is not available for weddings or wedding preparation activities (decorating, setting up taking deliveries, etc.) or cleaning-up activities within the hours of the Sabbath, sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night
Some of the Sabbath School rooms are available for a bride's room and a groom's room (see church floor plan). Personal items should not be left unattended because the church cannot be responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Rice or flower pedals may be thrown outside the church building provided that arrangements are made for cleaning the area. Birdseed or other seeds are not permitted. No smoking is allowed in the church or school building. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the church or on the church grounds.
Parking should be limited to the parking lot. Do not park at the entrance to the gymnasium or on the drive to the South around the Sabbath School wing. These areas must be kept clear for emergency vehicles. The wedding party will be responsible for any citations issued by the police or fire department.
Any items added to or removed from the sanctuary for the wedding must be cleared or restored so that the sanctuary is left as it was before the wedding. Church windows are not washed specifically for weddings. If you would like this service or other services, the building supervisor will work with you to see that they are provided. Normal cleaning is included in the fee. The wedding party is responsible for the cost of any additional cleaning that may be required and must allow time for cleaning prior to regular services.
