Building Supervisor

The building supervisor will be appointed by the Church and available to unlock and lock doors for rehearsals and the wedding. He or she will control the lights and temperature for the Church, arrange for movement of furniture and help arrange the platform as necessary. He or she will report on the condition of the premises as it relates to return of the deposit or portion thereof. He or she will be available up to two hours for the rehearsal, four hours for the wedding and an extra two hours if the fellowship hall/ kitchen are used for the reception or rehearsal dinner.

The rehearsal and wedding times must be arranged with the building supervisor. Two (2) phone numbers are to be provided for contact in the event that no one arrives at the appointed time.

Sound Technician / Deacon

A sound technician or deacon may be available to set-up and run the sound system for both rehearsal as well as the wedding service. He will be at the Church one hour before the wedding and may be available for up to two hours for the rehearsal and four hours on the wedding day. On request a cassette recording of the wedding may be made.

Music

The couple is expected to make arrangements for musicians. The selection of musicians and music must be approved in advance by the building supervisor before programs are printed.

Fellowship Hall

The fellowship hall and kitchen can be rented for receptions and/or rehearsal dinners. The prices can be found in the fees section in this contract.

The church Fellowship Hall may be reserved for the rehearsal dinner and/or wedding reception by scheduling with the Church Building Supervisor.

Rehearsal Dinner/Reception

The wedding party will be responsible for set-up, breakdown, and clean-up.

Decoration of Fellowship Hall (rehearsal and/or reception)

Decorating should be arranged with the Church Building Supervisor. Tape may be used on the walls. Please use only masking tape, as other tapes leave a lasting residue All candles must be enclosed in votives, globes, or hurricanes. Open flame candles are a fire hazard and are not permitted. No thumb tacks, nails, screws or scotch tape, please.

Kitchen

The group using the kitchen will be responsible for the cleaning at the completion of the event. All trash is to be put in the dumpster outside the church.

Please do not remove church items from either refrigerator appliance to accommodate the event.

The wedding party is responsible for providing all of its paper products, including cups, plates, napkins, bowls, tableware, covers, etc.

All items used from the kitchen must be washed and replaced in their original location. Counter tops and other surfaces must be wiped down and left ready for the next function in the kitchen. Drinks with dye that could stain the floor will not be permitted.
